We can only wish getting rid of roots was as easy as making another appointment at the salon for a touch-up when they’ve grown out so far, you can start to tell. To minimize the chance those tree roots never come back, we first check to see how far out the root system goes. We do this, because it doesn’t matter how big or small the trunk was; the roots can actually be quite different. To clear them as effectively as possible, we will grind the roots out up to five feet from where the trunk was.
